Carpooling
Share a car ride, not the whole cost
Most cars on the road between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, or between Madhurawada and Gajuwaka, are carrying one person. HeyGo puts the empty seats in those cars in front of people who are already going the same way.

How it works
Three steps from search to seat
- 01
Search the route
Enter where you are starting and where you are going. You see the rides drivers have published for that route with their timing.
- 02
Book your seat
Confirm the seat that suits you. Both accounts are OTP-verified, so neither side is travelling with a stranger who never verified anything.
- 03
Travel and confirm
Follow the trip status on the way, confirm completion when you arrive, and the trip stays in your ride history.
Why share the ride
The economics only work one way
A car making a journey with three empty seats is the most expensive way to travel, for the driver and for the road.
Cheaper than travelling alone
You are sharing a journey that was already happening, so the cost of the drive is split rather than paid twice over.
One less car on the road
Four people in one car instead of four cars is the single most effective thing a commuter can do about city traffic and fuel use.
Door to door, not stop to stop
A shared car goes where you are going. No last-mile scramble at the end of a bus or train leg.
Predictable, published trips
Drivers publish the route and time in advance, so you book a specific trip rather than hoping something turns up.

FAQ
Carpooling questions
What is carpooling?
Carpooling means sharing a car journey that is already happening. A driver publishes the trip they are making with the seats they have free, and riders travelling the same way book those seats instead of each taking a separate vehicle.
Is carpooling with HeyGo safe?
Every account is verified by OTP before it can be used, drivers upload their driving licence and vehicle details during onboarding, and trip status is tracked in the app so your booking is never an unrecorded handshake. Share your trip details with someone you trust before any journey.
Can I carpool for a daily office commute?
Yes, and it is one of the most common uses in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. Drivers publish the same route repeatedly, so a commute you make five days a week can be booked as a seat rather than a second car on the road.
What if my plans change after booking?
Manage the booking from your customer dashboard and tell the driver as early as you can. Late cancellations are what stop drivers from publishing seats, so the earlier the message, the better it works for everyone.
